Delete your account and your data
Your Nuvos account is yours. You can erase it whenever you want, by yourself, without asking anyone. Here are the three routes, and exactly what happens.
From the app
Profile → Settings → Delete my account. Your password is asked again; if you signed up with Google or Apple, signing in again with them serves as proof.
That check is not red tape: without it, an unlocked phone left on a table would be enough to erase years of training.
From the website
Sign in on nuvos.fit, open your account, then “Delete my account”. Both routes do exactly the same thing.
What is deleted
Everything, immediately and with no way back:
- your account and your email address,
- your profile: name, sex, date of birth, height, weight, goal,
- your programs and your sessions, set by set,
- your diets and your meals,
- your measurements and your weight history,
- your purchase history with our subscription provider.
What never left your phone
Your progress photos are not hosted by us: they are stored on your device and nowhere else. They disappear when you uninstall the app, with nothing for us to erase.
What we keep, and why
Your invoices, because the law requires it: French commercial law sets ten years for keeping accounting records. They contain none of your sessions, measurements or diet — only what an accounting document requires.
The deletion itself is immediate. The technical backups of our database, which exist only to restore service after an incident and which nobody reads, are overwritten by our host’s automatic rotation.
Mind your subscription
A subscription bought on nuvos.fit is cancelled automatically, before your account is even removed: we refuse to delete an account whose billing we could not stop.
A subscription bought on the App Store or Google Play, however, can only be cancelled by you, from your store. Deleting your Nuvos account does NOT stop it: cancel it first, otherwise you keep being charged.
No longer have access to your account?
If you have uninstalled the app and lost your password, write to us from the account’s email address. We check that it matches an account, then we delete it. No identity document is required.
